shula might well be history in 07, but i don't think its just. Playing in the ultra competitive sec i think he's done a pretty good job with the talent he's had. the d line was huge for a few years and they just aren't there now. His recruiting class from the last 2 years has been pretty decent it'll be interesting to see how they do next year. On a side note he's getting a ton of heat for not beating the hated auburn. I do agree that to be a good coach in the sec u gotta beat your rivals at least one time in five years. If that's the reason for letting him go i'll agree with it and say its not fair. But don't judge the man on one series judge him on his overall coaching job after all its not like ole miss, or miss state where those coaches just get free passes year after year for blowing
