I will have to admit now that the miami hurricanes are a shell of what they used to be. This game has been a disgrace and i am now of the opinion that larry coker has to go. Louisville has run the same god damned blitz up the middle for the entire game and we still can't stop kyle wright from getting killed, oh well season over. larry your a helluva nice guy but its been nice knowing you somebody call jimmy johnson and see what he's doing. Anyways on to more healthy topics Notre dame is getting spanked just as bad as we are and that simple fact has stopped me from getting my gun out of my room and blowing my brains out. lmao whatever bring it on hurricane haters its always nice to kick a team when they're down
yes gald to see notre dame go down and now have no chance at the national cahmpionship. regardless of what happens no one loss team can be taken if they lose by 20 at home. always over hyped and overrated.

Serious question- what would you do to turn this team around? Fire the head coach? Id it his head coordinators? Are they recruiting poorly?
I think its a clear as getting out recruited. Its harder now when so many teams are on national TV and getting national exposure. You don need to go to a miami or fsu or former powehouse to get the national exposure high classed recruits want for future benefits. who would have thought teams like louisville, west virginia, oregon, iowa state, boise state, fresno state are recruiting some of the kids that perrennial powerhouses in the SEC, ACC and Big 12 are also recruiting. Which in my mind, recruiting comes down to the coach being able to sell the product and the administration willing to spend money on facilities. I know for example that Cincinnati just completed over $100 million athletic facility renovations that Jim Tressel says are better than what OSU has. This does not include the stadium. the money UC receives from BCS affiliation will help them recruit kids they used not to be able to. Im not saying UC will ever be a national power but for every player, regardless if they are a blue chip player, they take from teams like Miami it hurts them. maybe UC isnt taking Miami's recruits but I am sure teams like South Florida and Central Florida are on some degree, which never happend in the past. So Miami needs a coach that can recruit. Its mostly recruiting in my opinion.
Yes, but Miami is a place I would think a lot of players would want to live. Also, they have both a winning tradition and nasty habit of placing a lot of players in the NFL.
My thinking is that they are now playing in a sissy conference and that's what hurting them with recruiting.
it may be a nicer place to live then louisville or boise but kids would rather play or even start as a freshman or sophmore rather than sit behind a junior or senior and not get meaningful playing time until they are a junior. maybe the smaller schools dont have the depth but their starters are talented.
(we play in a sissy conference) that is so stupid i won't even respond to it. As to us being out recruited because of playing time. I don't know if you know this about our program but the best player at the position plays. It doesn't matter if he's a true freshman or a senior if you're more talented than the guy in front of you and you work you play at the U
