The best day for bowls besides new years day. I love the afternoon bowl games here. I think this is a nice setup for the wildcats even though i hate them. THis is a team that has struggled mightily the last several years and their coach Rich Brooks has been in hot water until this season and he just got an extension. UK sold out their allotment of tickets to a bowl game before they even knew what game they were going to and against who. With the short trip to Nashville, this will be like a home game for Big Blue, especially against a team like Clemson that had higher asperations then the Music City Bowl. There is no doubt that Clemson is more talented, better coached and the better team. If this game were played in September I think Clemson wins by 21 but in this sitution it is tricky for Clemson. I am not sure that Kentucky wins but I think they keep it witin one posession through the first half and holding on for a chance to win it late. I would not be surprised if Clemson comes out sluggish and turns it on in the second half to win going away but I think UK makes it close and wins the game. This could be the biggest post christmas day upset.
Tho I wish UK would not have allowed those two late TDs.
Kentucky will be very decent next year. Georgia won their bowl game. SC won their bowl game. Tenn lost theirs, but outplayed Penn St. And Florida plays for the national title.
