also-best one-loss team has to be wisconsin if they win out (11-1) and michigan beats ohio state. wisconsins ONLY loss would be to #1 michigan at the big house. tough to argue with that!!!

This is the very point that I'm making in my research NCAA College Football Champ Revamp.
BCS has too many issues. Undefeated Auburn left out. Nebraska, after getting thumped by Colorado a few yrs back, still recovered enough to play in the title game. USC playing in the weakest of the BCS conferences, and weakest strength of schedule, when they plowed OK. A 1-loss SEC team left out, tho the 1-loss to a BCS top 8 ranked team. 1-loss Texas maybe left out after only loss to BCS #1.
