Wouldn't it be something if some year the Irish actually turn out to be as good as their fans think they are. Unless they improve their defense it could be a disappointing season regardless of the hype.

As far as being afraid to play BC. ND has made an agreement to play at least three Big East teams per season as soon as their schedule allows them. They have no such agreements with the ACC. I would think that is probably the reason that they are not renewing their series with BC. I can understand why BC cut ties with all of their natural rivals. Boise is beautiful in December. We here in West Virginia were so jealous over your bowl game last year and poor us, we got stuck with Atlanta and the Sugar Bowl.

They all ready have two losses on the schedule in michigan and usc, they only have six sure fire wins on their schedule this year. We beat Michigan in their own house. We play them here this year. Advantage ND.

We lost to USC, the defending champs, in the closing minutes. The eventual National champs, beat them in the closing minutes. USC lost their three best players and we got better. Advantage ND.

If you (as a person) ever want any credibility, you really need to think things out and explain them logically. You're ranting makes me doubt your mental strength.

You may be notre dame but i have something to share with you on that particular topic. The Piece of crap that you put on the field every saturday will be praying to the touchdown jesus to be 8-4. We are notre dame what a fu**ing loser you must be. You've probably never even been to a game. I've been to that pathetic thing you call a stadium and it ain't much. Perhaps last year you did beat tennessee who beat lsu who beat us but that doesn't mean sh**. LSU tennessee is a hated rivalry in the sec who it doesn't matter if one team is better than the other one it's going to be a good game. Actually, i was at every home game last year as well as two away games, plus the Fiesta Bowl. I graduated in May and just got back from South Bend an hour ago after watching ND put the stamp on Penn St.

You are correct, we have not had bowl game success recently, but to say we will have 3-4 losses this year is insane. I dont think anything I've said is unreasonable. We have the strongest team we've had in a long time. I think Ohio St is still the clear cut #1 but we continue to improve.

I respect the opinions of those that are reasonable. But to say we will be praying to go 8-4 suggests that canes fan is talking with his heart rather than his head.

Canes are always solid, I will give you that. But ND being lucky to be 8-4??? Be realistic.
