Perhaps playing the likes of Stanford, North Carolina, Army, Air Force, Purdue, and Mich St did not prepare them for the rigors of real football.
It's time to put their a$$ in a conference. They are no better than 6-6 in the Big 10, Big 12, SEC, or Big East. They are 8-4 in the ACC, PAC 10.
They get so much hype every year, but they tank the bowl game. Brady Quinn isn't all that. Puts up numbers against inferior comp. Does squat in the big games.
I'm tired of wastin' my bowl-watching time seeing them put up NO FIGHT at all.
I thoroughly enjoy watching them getting thumped every year by a superior bowl opponent. but I guess it does take away from the possibility of having another OK - BSU type matchup by leaving a more deserving team like Rutgers out.
